AkzoNobel
Akzo Nobel is one of the world's largest international industrial companies. Akzo Nobel supplies a broad range of paints, coatings and specialty chemicals. Akzo Nobel performs its activities in several countries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.

AkzoNobel’ European warehouses were spread over 7 different locations. This spread had to be reduced to one central location. In 110 days Vos Logistics set up an operation for AkzoNobel in Goch (Germany). During this period of time the land was bought and a warehouse of 15.000 m² was built. Staff was hired, the process (including automation) was implemented, stock was built and the operation was made ready for use.
AkzoNobel products for the German market are nowadays being stored in Goch. Besides the storage Vos Logistics is also responsible for stock management and handling of the several products of the 7 European AkzoNobel plants.The process is fully integrated with the SAP-system of AkzoNobel. Communication from both sides occurs at several moments during the process. Carriers are being instructed by means of the IT systems of Vos Logistics. The different systems generate management information. This is being discussed at monthly meetings together with the service level and the agreed KPI’s.
 

Royal Ahrend NV
Ahrend is a worldwide office furnishing company with a turnover of more than 200 million euros and more than 1250 motivated employees. Delivering a constant top quality is Ahrend’s competitive advantage.From three different depots in Holland Vos Logistics takes care of a number of VAL activities. The transport, in-house delivery and assembling of Ahrend’s products at its customers are arranged by Vos. The three depots use a ‘two bin’ system. This is a distribution concept for fine distribution. Through a night shuttle with four little swap bodies the depots are supplied. There the swap bodies are transferred to smaller distribution vehicles. Next the office furniture are delivered by a team of two co-workers. Besides this Vos Logistics is also involved in setting up test deliveries.

For the coordination and execution of transport, in-house delivery and assembling Ahrend has found a solid partner. Vos Logistics has been able to meet the high standards and needs of its customer through motivated, skilled and trained personnel. For several years now this has been a successful cooperation!
 

Harense Smid
The Harense Smid is a subsidiary company, focused on the sale of a wide and diverse range of consumer electronics. The Harense Smith has a long relationship with Vos Logistics. For years Vos Logistics provides a part of the freight for the Harense Smith. Thus supplies Vos Logistics various branches of the Harense Smith for 6 days per week. Vos Logistics also offers cars with drivers for daily delivery of equipment to the customers of the Harense Smith home. The Blacksmith Harense itself provide route planning and order on a daily basis, cars with drivers at Vos Logistics.

Currently driving a car daily branch 1 of Vos Logistics in Harense Smith. Further driving a delivery car from a 5 transhipment depot in Assen and average 14-16 delivery vehicles from Oss. Weekly consultations between the Harense Smith and operational direction of Vos Logistics ensures that the quality of the delivery service is continuously monitored.




Bolsius
De Bolsius Groep is één van Europa's grootste producenten van kaarsen. Bolsius wilde het aantal magazijnen in Europa terugbrengen tot één centraal magazijn. Met als doel een verlaging van de logistieke kosten. Dit mocht geen invloed hebben op de kwaliteit en leverbetrouwbaarheid.
De eindproducten van Bolsius worden nu in het warehouse van Vos Logistics in Helmond opgeslagen. Vanuit deze locatie verzorgt Vos Logistics, op basis van de klantorders van Bolsius, de levering van de goederen.
Vos Logistics heeft aan de hoge eisen en wensen van de klant kunnen voldoen. Middels het warehousemanagementsysteem, gemotiveerd en bekwaam personeel en snelle beschikbaarheid van betrouwbare managementinformatie.


Medica
Medica is a producer and trading company of medical products for areas such as the OR, anaesthesia, cardiology and radiology, established in Oss. Medica wanted to cut-back its logistic costs and went looking for a reliable logistic service provider for storage and distribution. High delivery reliability was an important condition.

From its warehouse in Oss, Vos Logistics takes care of the incoming and outgoing Medica products and their storage. VAL activities such as control, repackaging and labelling, etc., are carried out from this warehouse as well. The entire process is supported by computerized systems. Delivery orders are sent on to Vos Logistics through Medica’s ERP system. By means of this system, the order picking and the outgoing goods, as well as the distribution network, are managed.

Working with computerized systems and strict controls of outgoing goods provides delivery reliability percentages of almost 100%. In addition there is a monthly partner consultation between Medica and Vos Logistics, where the performance is compared to the agreements made. This procedure makes Vos Logistics a reliable partner for Medica.

Vos Logistics is a member of the Logistiek Platform Oss (logistics platform Oss).

Oss grew into a multimodal junction for the southeastern part of the Netherlands. Situating nearby the railway line Den Bosch-Nijmegen, the river Maas and important highways like the A50/A59 Oss is in easy reach by railway, water and by road. For her own citizens, commuter traffic as well as for the road transport and haulage in the widest meaning of the word.

Besides being centrally situated, the municipality and the logistical history of Oss, the strong figures are clear regarding Oss and her economic activity.
