Vos Logistics is a socially responsible company. We fulfill our customers' wishes in a commercially responsible manner and in the best possible circumstances for our staff and the environment. Our trucks are fitted with energy-saving engines that satisfy the strictest emission standards and our drivers are trained in fuel efficient driving techniques. We use our innovative strength to achieve the same goals. This has resulted in the Lovos transport management system we developed in-house. Lovos, one of the most advanced IT systems in the industry, backs up our sustainable approach to logistics services.

Customer satisfaction
With automated performance reports and agreed performance indicators, we constantly check the quality of our services against our customers' demands. Complaints are thoroughly investigated via Root Cause Analyses, with as a means to monitor and improve customer satisfaction.

Vos Logistics Education Center
We provide our drivers with both theoretical and practical training at our own Vos Logistics Education Center (VLEC). The VLEC makes our people fully aware of the importance of carefully executed loading, unloading, cleaning and administrative procedures.

Mobile Quality Team
To guarantee the quality of our services, we have defined our business processes in standards and procedures. Quality control is meticulous, both at our locations and on the road throughout Europe. The Mobile Quality Team is a team of experienced and trained former drivers. They provide, where necessary, technical support to our drivers, on the road and at the sites. They also carry out technical inspections of the equipment and assist in the optimization of operational processes in the loading or unloading. Also, they carry out, announced and unannounced audits and they are in constant contact with our Quality Managers.

Environment
Our fleet consists mainly of vehicles with Euro 4/5 engines and has an average age of 2,5 years. We optimise fuel consumption for example through the efficient use of cruise control and air conditioning, defensive driving (changing gear on time) and timely checks of fuel consumption. We have also started tests using LNG and CNG. We continuously focus on reducing the empty mileages and we put extra focus on intermodal solutions. Furthermore we refer to the chapter sustainability, our certifications and our policy regarding recycling and waste separation.

Behaviour Based Safety (BBS)
An importent part of our driver training course is Behaviour Based Safety (BBS). The difference between an average driver and a good one lies in attitude, professionalism and driving style. Since the BBS module was introduced for our drivers, the number of incidents, accidents and complaints has fallen considerably.
Vos Logistics also takes part in projects to improve general road safety. An example is the project "Good 2 see you" where children from (primary) school learn how to deal safely with large trucks and other huge vehicles.
